I am musician and a certified singinging teacher, offering body-oriented singing lessons, breathing techniques, and voice training - no matter whether you are an advanced singer, in a speaking profession, shower and bathtub entertainer, or simply wish to know your own instrument better - your voice.

In the classroom, we deal with your wishes and requirements for your voice. It gives me great pleasure to deal with integrative voice work on a vocal and physical level.  All levels and ages are welcome!!!

Michael Dey (english only)

I’m originally from England, and now living and working as a drum teacher and musician here in Vienna

Back in 2010, I moved to London, where I studied Popular Music at Goldsmiths University of London, with an emphasis on singing. After completing my studies I returned home and worked full time as a Drum Teacher at a local music school for two years. It was here where I feel I really sparked off and developed my passion for teaching, and working with people of many ages, (anywhere from 2 to 70 years old).

All lessons are taught in English.

Through my many years of experience as a guitarist in the studio and live situations, I can fall back on a wide range of playing techniques, sound concepts, and approaches to use the guitar - in a band or solo context creatively. Since my graduation from Anton Bruckner Private University (jazz guitar, fingerstyle guitar) with excellent success in 2017, I am working as a guitarist, composer, and producer in many projects and bands throughout Vienna.

In addition to my studies of music education at the Kunstuniverstität Graz (graduated Summer 2019) I have plenty of experience on stage (i.e. winner of the Marianne Mendt Jazz Festival (2012) and finalist for ORF-Große Chance with Massive Beats Crew).

I am currently working intensively on the composition and arrangement for Big Band Music and am currently studying jayy composition with Ed Paryka.

Progressive Music like Punk, Metal und Alternative Rock has influenced me a lot in my younger years. Thus: "Scheuklappen runter!" (Blinders down!)

I'm an e-Bassist, musician, teacher and composer. After my IGP studies at the Anton Bruckner Private University in Linz, it took me to Vienna, where I have lived and worked since 2017.

The goal in my lessons is to provide a creative freedom to develop a musical identity.  The role as bassist is diverse - we cover important toopics like groove and bassline creation, but also:

  • Harmony

  • Composition

  • Improvisation

  • Transcription

  • Solving Skills

  • Practice Strategies

  • Stress Management

Whether you play bass as hobby or are a future professional - together we take the next step! ;-)
